Press Release:
The fear that we all have been waiting for is finally here! Capcom is pleased to announce the first downloadable episode for Resident Evil 5, “LOST IN NIGHTMARES” is available today on Xbox Live and will be made available on PlayStation Network tomorrow, February 18.
B.S.A.A. agents, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine have tracked down the location of Umbrella founder Ozwell E. Spencer’s mansion. Previously only told through cut scenes in Resident Evil 5, players now can experience the events that lead up to Jill’s “death”.
Not only is there a new episode but new playable characters are available for THE MERCENARIES REUNION. Consumers who download “LOST IN NIGHTMARES” will receive Excella Gionne and Barry Burton included as part of their download. Each character has their own unique weapon load outs, providing players with additional challenges as they shoot down as many enemies as they can within the time limit.
RE5’s second DLC episode “DESPERATE ESCAPE,” will be available on March 3 for Xbox Live Arcade and March 4 for PlayStation Network. RESIDENT EVIL 5: GOLD EDITION, available March 9, will include the original Resident Evil 5 game plus all downloadable content on a single Blu-Ray disk for PS3, and the original Resident Evil 5 plus a token for the downloads.

Just found out that Enemy and weapon placement change per play through! I was confused why my playthrough was different than one i watched! This really enhances replayability. Kudos to Capcom
For $5 this is a lot cheaper then I thought it would be. Just between this and Versus mode I feel Capcom really held out the content to make a few extra bucks.
Bought it, completed it already. I would say it is worth 400 points.
First playthrough was 1 hour 15minutes and then two other playthroughs at 40mins each. Plus extra mercenaries characters is nice. The DLC really feels like an old RE game which is nice. The only thing about the dlc that is bad is there is only really one type of enemy =/ Which just feels barebones.
Nice thing is that on normal, veteran and professional the amount of enemies and the weapons you get are different which adds some variety.
Yeah !
I enjoyed the DLC. I thought about buying the Gold Edition but I bought the original the day it came out and still have it. Just cheaper to keep the game and DL.
Glad it was 400 and not 800 Points. Fun but not worth more than 400
@gekkokamen
That sux. This looks like the only part of the game thats actually worth playing... I sold my RE5 long time ago.
Oh well...no dice capcom. Alien Vs Predator will entertain me instead...
I already bought the game and the DLC seems very well priced so i will just download it :)
@disolitude it's an add-on dlc, so of course.
need original game to play this?
No. No thanks.
I will wait for a RE5 with all this stuff included in a disk.
