"Steven, you know you can't watch videos during work... I'll let you off this time... OH MY GOD!".

Needless to say, Steven's fate is hardly admirable. But hey, with this kind of trailer, he had it coming! When Aksys Games had to decide on what they want to emphasize in this game, battles or tits, they clearly went with the latter. Why do the endless JRPG routine of story, battles, items, and exp when you can have weird hentai instead? (just look at that last shot... it's just extremely arousing, isn't it?). Sure, the juicy stuff is blurred out in the trailer, but we all know what's coming... especially after hearing what the girls had to say. The game carries the saying: "Make Love (DNA spills), not War", with pride... and it's certainly a new approach to JRPG's.

There is still no word on one-handed controls, sadly. Oh well...

P.S: "May" contain content inappropriate for children? Haha...

ive got this game in uk, and the content that the trailer shows is pretty much the grand total in the game, for a game selling itself on hentai images , if uve seen the trailer, uve seen almost everything in the game,

I watched it fully expecting glorious tits (as stated in the aricle) but all I saw was kiddy porn. Sigh. I never got the appeal of hentai.

Whoever posted this article needs to be aware what the platforms are the titles in his article are coming out on. Watching the video would have gave it away. For thos not aware this is a game coming to both X360/PS3. PS3 gets it on PSN as a digital download exclusive and X360 gets it as a retail exclusive. Both get the game but in different ways.

Well..in Japan. And only if you buy an actual legitimate copy. Even then, there's very strict laws which censor many things, such as if the game is going to be sold ANYWHERE outside of Japan. Its a pretty weird system, seeing as how they have such a huge market for these games, yet they have some of the most strict laws for censoring and distribution. It would be like in the US, congress passing a law that all FPS censor blood if they're going to be released outside the US.

Anyway, that said, this game hardly looks like anything amazing. Some games out there have actually had hentai images and gone on to be million sellers in Japan. Such as Kanon, To Heart, Utawarerumono and etc. Even had Anime made off of them. This game however doesn't seem to be as high of quality as those games. Just your avg low quality game trying to sell based on cute little sprites and a few nude images.

The Xbox version was a remake of the original PS3 game... PS3 actually have TWO Agarest game. The original, and a prequel i think named "Zero."

The game is not censored but they don't show anything at all they just use the clever censorship methods used common in ecchi animes such as light glare, cleverly placed plant, steam etc. in the way. Trailer is great nonetheless if Cross Edge was advertised as such I'm sure it would have gotten more purchases.

It's not the exact same content Kenryoku. The PC hentai rpgs have 18+ content showing everything. Whereas this console game is censored. ;)

Looks like your typical low budget PC Hentai RPG they just put on the PS3. Frankly, its rather funny if they're going to sell this for $40-60 when you can get similar games online for $10 or less (even free) of the same quality from Japan and the EXACT same content.

I noticed on Aksys Games' website they have Record of Agarest War down as a multi-plat (xbox 360 and xbox live logos). And apparently Aksys confirmed that they will be localizing the Xbox 360 version to North America (disc version though. not XBLA. PS3 is getting a PSN release). Is this the case? I was under the impression that this was a PS3 exclusive.

The trailer is a joke intended to stir up interest in the game, it is not pornographic at all, and the pictures are randomly taken from the internet and not original works which they would use in a game.

@Fazz: Probably not but I absolute hate censorship in this manner. If you want content out of something then REMOVE IT dont cover it up (if its there) or just do it to draw attention to it. Drives me crazy.

Import was based on whether its coming over intact or censored. Are the other 2 versions censored or not? (such as the trailer is censored but is that just for the trailer?)
