Nintendo DSi Hits 3 Million Units In Japan - News

Nintendo have sold 3,062,920 DSi units in Japan alone. And this is only in the short space of 10 months.
The DSi was released in Japan, November 1st 2008 for the price of ¥18,900. Adding these DSi numbers to the normal DS and DSlite brings total Nintendo DS sales to above 27 Million in Japan alone.
Big name titles have helped the DSi reach this number, one of these games is Dragon Quest IX, which has already broken 3 Million copies sold, with 3 weeks on sale.

It would be well worth it. Both the DS and PSP are great portable gaming devices.
The little machine that could... good for the DS line.
I think they can hit 35 million at this rate. Another 18 months of DS production and then hopefully we'll see the DS2?
