BioWare: Dragon Age 4 is 'in the Middle of Production' - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 03 March 2022 / 1,362 ViewsBioWare studio general manager Gary McKay in a new blog post has provided an updated on the next Dragon Age game and revealed development on the game is going well.
"For the next Dragon Age, we are right in the middle of Production, which is a great feeling," said McKay.
"Our blueprint was completed last year, so we’re now focused on building out our vision: creating amazing environments, deep characters, strong gameplay, impactful writing, emotional cinematics – and much more. The blueprint for the game is well understood and the team is focused."
McKay also mentioned the developer is "also working on the next Mass Effect. The team, led by Mike Gamble, is made up of a team of veteran developers as well as some new, really talented people. They are all actively prototyping new ideas and experiences. AAA next-gen games take a long time to make – and we know our fans may want them sooner. But our Number One priority needs to be quality, and that simply takes time to get it right."

So probably a holiday 2024 title.
"In the middle..." you mean after the 2 restarts? EA really messed this up.
Literally zero faith in Bioware. I loved Origins but the series fell apart after that much like Bioware.
My caution may turn into cautious optimism when we actually see full on gameplay, and I don't mean that scripted BS that Anthem pulled lol, but I guess it's a good sign that BioWare sounds confident about what they're working on. Definitely seems like Mass Effect is at least a few years off.
