again with the rerelease! release a new gta already rockstar haha
This trilogy will likely get ported to PS6 Switch 2 and Xbox Series Y|Z
So at this point, we had GTA 5 on 7 platforms and now the 3 trilogy on 7 platforms before GTA 6.
Not 7 but 8. This trilogy is announced to release on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in late 2021, and on Android and iOS devices in the first half of 2022.
Oh right. I put iOS and Android into the "mobile" category.
Edit: I guess they need to port gta 5 to switch to balance it out. 8 and 8.
The good GTAs
They are good, but if you're implying 5 is bad, I have to disagree.
Console GTA games finally appear on a Nintendo system!
Maybe this will sell enough that they'll port gta 5 to the switch. And then they can sell another 10 million copies.
Physical release with all 3 games on the cartridge and I will even preorder
People really want this??? Just work on GTA 6 already.
Vice City is my favorite in the series, curious if they will have all the music still intact. I don't plan on buying this package but it's nice to see the series finally come to Nintendo. It will also be nice for the ps5 and XBox X to not have the atrocious GTA load times.
They better keep Vice City's soundtrack intact. Its musical selection is half of the atmosphere of the game.
Yah VC's soundrtrack is like 80% of the game
Pun intended
gta advance gba and gta chinatown wars ds???
Ahhh. I wasn't even thinking of that. I'd say that goes for all of the games. It puts you in the mood.
This better not come as a cloud version for Switch xD
If someone told me back in 2013 that the next GTA release would come 8 years later, and be a simple remastering of three games from 2001-2004... I'd surely think you were joking.
awesome!! motion aiming for Switch and I'm sold : )
Also coming to the N64
To be honest, other than at friends' houses I've never really played these games. I'm curious to see how they hold up. Is Vice City a major upgrade control and handling wise over GTA 3? Is there a bit of exploration and platforming or are these games all drive and shoot?
I'll buy it on IOS, lol.
How many Nintendo Ninjas had to break into Rockstar and leave sales figures for the Switch plastered to the walls to get Rockstar to put them on their system for a change?
It depends if they're willing to see the sales or not (like for L.A. Noire)
gta advance gba and gta chinatown wars ds???
"R* game launcher"
Guess that's me out.
Even you got the downvotes...
Why the downvotes? Not wanting to go through a particular loophole to get to a game seems quite reasonable.
I dunno either. I just wanted the OG games to remain on the other storefronts and to be able to buy the new remaster collection on either Steam or GoG, but neither is happening, so I dunno how that's not a viable complaint.
What I'm gathering from the comments is that according to lots of people, if you're a gamer, you've got to be willing to go anywhere if you want to play certain games. If it's free, there's no excuse, and if it costs money, you've just got to suck it up. Just don't say anything negative because being it's the worst thing ever.
Also, the comment section is utterly unsuitable for any proper discussion due to the downvoting system, so I'm not even going to try to formulate my thoughts in a less provocative manner.
Well, it doesn't help that once you go past a threshold, the comment gets hidden. It's just not great for discussion - or sharing your opinion, because at that point you might as well be speaking to yourself. Just feels pointless to me to comment at all if you get downvoted enough (and it's really easy to get downvotes even for what seem perfectly reasonable comments to me).
