Former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime is writing a book that is due out on May 24, 2022. The book is titled "Disrupting the Game: From the Bronx to the Top of Nintendo."

Fils-Aime in the book "shares leadership lessons and inspiring stories from his unlikely rise to the top," reads the description to the book on Amazon

"He mastered these lessons to build a long and storied career, and you too can leverage these lessons to springboard your own ultimate success and happiness.

"Although he’s best known as Nintendo's iconic President of the Americas-immortalized for opening Nintendo’s 2004 E3 presentation with, 'My name is Reggie, I'm about kicking ass, I'm about taking names, and we're about making games'-Reggie Fils-Aime's story is the ultimate gameplan for anyone looking to beat the odds and achieve success."

Although I liked Iwata and Reggie as a person, the Wii and Wii U were the dark age of Nintendo. Both people made Nintendo very successful, but the price was very high.

Gotta agree with that. Reggie, at times, seemed like he was taking Nintendo of America back to the days when there were huge question marks around every RPG in Japan getting localized. Thankfully Nintendo of Europe was a lot more chill. His hesitancy on Xenoblade Chronicles was especially irritating. I liked his energy and enthusiasm, and he seems like a good dude, but not so much him telling people what they wanted.

Definitely looks like the sort of thing I want to read. I really like books about disruption, and I believe both Reggie and Iwata were wanting to make/sell disruptive products from Nintendo.

I will bet you a $20 e-shop gift card that it does not launch in the first half of any year.
