PlayStation Now May Add Red Dead Redemption 2, Nioh 2, and More in July - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 02 July 2021 / 1,893 ViewsSony has yet to announce the games that will be added to its PlayStation Now service for July 2021, however, a user on Reddit spotted and posted a video of a Facebook add that reveals the games that will be coming to the service this month.
The advertisement on Facebook reveals Red Dead Redemption 2, Nioh 2, Judgment, God of War, Team Sonic Racing, and Moving Out will be coming to PlayStation Now this month. It also says that Judgment will be available until October 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 until November 1.
It should be stated that these games have yet to officially be announced to come to PlayStation Now and this should be treated as a rumor until confirmed.

They've been stepping things up since Gamepass has been getting steam. Competition is good.
Argg read "now" as "plus" and got excited for a second ...
They're clearly trying to beef up the service, apparently as a response to Gamepass. I wonder if they'll start putting some marketing effort into it?
PS Now needs a massive rethink. Just gone though the list and there really are some good games there. But the overall sense of value is heavily diminished by poor streaming quality for all PS3 games, and the fact that very little care is taken to get a decent version of the game into the service.
For example, you can play BF4, but only if you stream the PS3 (!) version. Likewise, you can play the Last Of Us, but again, the PS3 version over stream.
Especially with their growing library of PC ports PS Now has massive potential
Yeah, it's a confused state of affairs. RDR2 and Nioh 2 on Plus would be welcome on Plus, yet now are anomalously good/recent parts of Now. I think content needs to be the differentiator in offerings, with streaming merely a means to play for some. If games can be played locally, even via emulator, then that should be allowed. PS4/5 content can be one subscription, classic PS1/2/3 can be another. Maybe new indy stuff could go in both, perhaps each with a different selection to give people more of a reason to subscribe to both. But a clear content differentation NOT conflated with streaming, will give customers a clearer understanding of the product offering to understand it's attraction and value, or even just try it out when they see it as trying games not trying "new weird means of delivery".
yeah agree with the diagnosis. A PS4/5 download subscription and a separate PS legacy streaming solution called PS Now would work for consoles.
Now that Sony are releasing most of their x86 PS4/5 games onto PC (and may have bluepoint to help) would be interesting to see whether PC is still part of their strategy now they can sell at full price with a native port there.
I still won't become a streaming customer, but this is great for those that want to use the service.
I'm pretty sure PS4 titles can be downloaded if you don't want to stream them. I myself am not a fan of subscription services so this doesn't really interest me. But for those who like it, its an option.
Sure, but that this type of confusion is so common to see about PS Now tells me Sony needs to clear things up in terms of product distinction, possibly by merging/splitting offerings or even making the streaming element free while charging for the content however you consume it (local/cloud).
Can't say I disagree with you. I honestly think they should relaunch PS Now, give it a new name and make it clear that games can be downloaded as well as streamed.
I'm not subscription fan either. I prefer to own my games.
