Retailer Lists October 30, 2020 for Metroid Prime 4 Release Date - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 02 July 2020 / 3,199 ViewsNintendo officially announced Metroid Prime 4 back in June 2017 at E3. Not much has been heard about the game since it was announced.
Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime at the end of 2018 said "the game is well in development." However, Nintendo's Senior Managing Executive Officer Shinya Takahashi in January 2019 said development on the game was not meeting expectations and had been restarted from scratch at Retro Studios.
Czech online video game retailer Super Gamer has listed the game for an October 30, 2020 release. October 30 is a Friday this year, which is the day of the week Nintendo releases the majority of their big games in Europe.
The release date should be treated as a rumor until an official release date is announced.

Most likely a placeholder date.
Lmaooooo not gonna happen
I kind of wish we got a Prime collection before this one comes out. I missed out on those games and I wouldn't mind catching up on the Switch.
+1 doubt
Lol please have some common sense
Yea right LOL! Didn't they start over development from scratch?
Like everyone else, there is no chance this is Metroid Prime 4. But I wonder if the date is correct - but the TITLE is wrong? Maybe instead of MP4, we are getting a Metroid Prime 1-3 Remaster collection on 10/20/2020? I know it sounds terrible to say, but I would be totally fine and in fact LOVE if Nintendo did a quick'n'dirty remastered collection of the first three Prime games. Just clean up the textures/models a bit, get them running in native 1080p on docked mode, splash in some HD rumble support and call it a day lol
Highly daubt it.
I hope not...This one is a strategical piece of Nintendo, they must not rush it.
sure would be an awesome release this year.
Nah.
