Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! Coming to Switch in November - News

The Pokemon Company and Game Freak have announced Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! for the Nintendo Switch. It will launch on November 16.

The Poké Ball Plus is a Poké Ball-shaped device that can be used to play Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! in place of your Joy-Con. You’ll be able to throw Poké Balls in-game with a flick of your wrist! In addition to motion controls, the device lights up with a variety of colors, vibrates, and plays sounds.

With the Poké Ball Plus, you can also take one of your favorite Pokémon from these games for a stroll as you go about your daily life in the real world. The Poké Ball Plus even works as a Pokémon GO Plus when playing Pokémon GO.

Pikachu or Eevee: Which Will You Choose?

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! bring the experience of a classic Pokémon RPG to Nintendo Switch with gameplay that is easily approachable for newcomers to the series, but is also deep enough to keep veteran Trainers on their toes.

The games also have two-player simultaneous play, so you can take the journey with a friend! And there’s a deep connection between Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! and Pokémon GO, so fans of the hit mobile game will find even more to enjoy.

Checking Serebii, it's a Yellow remake and not Gen 8 which is still to come. With any luck, I'll like the game more than the trailer.

Would be cool if you said why. I don't like the pokemon go and ball nonsense, but a remake of yellow with couch co-op doesn't sound terrible to me.

For the reasons you said but also with no wild Pokemon battles how do you train your squad? I worry the level up and evolution mechanics from Go will also be used. I don't mind the yellow remake concept but I I feel the gameplay will be completely butchered.

Oh... i didn't know that. The trailer isn't very clear. No wild pokemon battles is indeed a deal breaker.

Level up and evolution is not like Go, you have standard EXP, you level up through battles and apparently a little bit through catching, the Go candies do nothing in these games, the battles are turn based clasic style.

As much as I've long been finished with Pokemon Go, it's a super smart decision by Nintendo to make this along with the main series RPG's next year. Capture all the casual players who play Go, and then cater to the hardcore fans. Pokemon fun for everyone on the Switch!
