Microsoft is slashing the price of all Xbox One S bundles starting tomorrow, June 11 by $50. You will be able to pick up the Minecraft bundle for $199.

It is not known if the price cut is temporary or not.

Yeah this article needs updating, it's only specific bundles that are $50 off, the cheapest is $249 not $199.

IGN seems to have a clarification of this.

"A Microsoft representative clarified to IGN that the $50 price drop only applies to select Xbox One consoles and will only apply from June 11 through June 17.

The discount includes the Battlefield 1 500GB bundle and 1TB Forza Horizon 3 bundle. It does not apply to bundles that are currently reduced such as the Minecraft bundle currently available for $249.

As such, until June 17, 500GB bundles are $249 and 1TB bundles are $299."

I really don't care about price, all I care about is the value. However, the Scorpio needs to be 399 right now to really sell well. Hope this is an indicator it is.

Well youre a minority if you dont care about price. Most people buy consoles after price cuts.

This is a good sign for Scorpio's price. I doubt MS would have a price difference of more than $200 between the the S and the Scorpio.

Agreed, if they can sell this for $200 than Scorpio can easily be $400.

Amazing price for the capabilities of the hardware. X1 should aim for a low price so I hope this is permanent.

Strange downvotes strike again. I don't have any idea why this was downvoted. Doesn't make any bold claims and shouldn't offend anyone.

I see this as a means to help retailers thin out inventory ahead of the launch of Scorpio
