Steam Stats showed the game peaked at 212,620 players on launch day, Friday, August 12, according to PC Gamer. That is well above previous record holder, XCOM 2, which peaked at 133,022 players on launch day. Dark Souls 3 peaked at 129,975 players and Total War: Warhammer peaked at 113,019.

Yeah I refunded it and got the PS4 version, too bad, I really prefer playing on the PC but in this case the PS4 version is much better, reminded me of the last batman game
Both versions will drastically improve and the ps4 neo version will be very good too. Both ps4 and pc version will be very cheap in future sales from 2017 onwards too. Basically the title has a very positive future on pc/PS4.
And the choice of those platforms was a big success for HG. Covered most of their target market and got the amazing Sony marketing behind them.
With the reactions on the release and general bad performance on PC I don't know if the success will continue, lets hope for some good patches-fixes and support from hello games.
Steamspy state that the Steam's version sold over 500K.
I have about 43 hours in my game so far, loving it!
Shame it was in such rough shape. Seriously, such small teams shouldn't strain to achieve near simultaneous releases. If they can't, they should just explain it and release when it is ready. And people shouldn't be livid when they do so. Hello Games and other small indie teams are not big budget mega companies, we should not expect them to be capable of the things that those companies can be.
