Black Desert Online Has Sold 400,000 Copies in its First Month in the West - News

Daum Games has just published a press release announcing that its MMORPG Black Desert Online has sold over 400,000 copies in the west during its first month on the market.

One of the key reasons for the game's success, according to Daum Games, is that the company adopted “a premium business model for Western audiences as opposed to the free-to-play model used in Korea. After purchasing the game once, players have access to all content updates for free as they become available.”

The F2P model afaik only applies to places like Russia, not like the UK and US where it's pay once and never again like with GW2.

Actually... there have been problems with Pay to win already. I don't know if they fixed it or not, so proceed with caution.
