Club Nintendo Officially Shut Down - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 02 July 2015 / 3,677 Views

Club Nintendo has now officially closed. It was first announced in January that Nintendo would be shutting down the service, and now it has actually happened.

Club members now have until July 31st to redeem download codes or they will expire. Physical rewards will be shipped by the end of September this year.

There is no word from Nintendo on what will replace Club Nintendo, other than that something will be announced in the future. The new program will also work across both of Nintendo's current platforms - the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.
