by Craig S , posted on 06 June 2015 / 4,677 ViewsBethesda's Community Lead, Matt Grandstaff, has confirmed that Fallout 4 will not be coming to previous generation consoles because it isn't capable of working on those platforms.

In a reply on NeoGAF Grandstaff states that "It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there."
Fallout 4 was officially announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC a few days ago. Expect a lot more information to be revealed at Bethesda's very first E3 press conference, which takes place on June 14th.

That's just fine and I hope more studios follow that path.
Thank you, Bethesda. Last gen support for games of this scale needs to be dropped.
Good to hear that they're focusing on the future.
Playing Fallout 3 now and it still riddled with bugs, glitches and crashes. Really hope they hired some capable developers for a change.
Why do this need to said last gen consoles were struggling with fallout 3
Being the cynical bastard that I am, and knowing Bethesda, it'll barely work on the current consoles at first as well. One day through many patches it will resemble something worthy of a solid polished launch.
I'm glad their bypassing the last gen consoles, also. I still have my PS3 hooked up, but pretty much all that i play on it anymore, are the PS+ freebies. I definitely use my PS4 95% of the time, when i'm console gaming.
About damn time Jimmy
good to know, time to move to the current gen of consoles.
Well thank god for that.
Good to hear that they're focusing on the future.
