Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Sales Top 2.4M Units Worldwide - PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PC - News

Monolith developed Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has been on sale for nine weeks. The game sold 849,145 units worldwide at retail in its first week on sale. The game has now sold 2.45 million units worldwide as of the week ending November 29.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has sold the most units on the PlayStation 4 where it has sold 1.39 million units. The Xbox One version has sold 603,958 units. The PlayStation 3 version sold 157,244 units, the PC version has sold 152,363 units and the Xbox 360 version has sold 145,447 units.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor launched on September 30 in the North America and October 3 in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game launched for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.

Finally, a multimillion-selling 3rd party game that deserves it. Most multimillion 3rd party games this year got there on hype a clever (and often deceptive) advertising. But this one made it on quality. And ironically, it was the one I was expecting to suck. Bravo.
