New UK Studio Formed by Fable Creators, Ex-Lionhead Staff - News

Brothers Dene and Simon Carter, the creators of the Fable franchise, had originally left Lionhead Studios last June. The Carter brothers have since gone on to form a new studio based out of the UK, called Another Place Productions.
Other key developers of the Fable team have also left the Microsoft owned studio to join the Carter brothers. The list includes executive producer Jeremie Texier, art director John McCormack and technical director Guillaume Portes.
The Fable franchise is Lionhead Studios biggest IP and one of Microsoft's biggest exclusive. The franchise has sold a combined 11.57 million units since the original launched back in 2004, according to VGChartz.
