Overview
The top 50 is now available to non-pro members. There are six games in the top 50 to be in its final week before launch, Battlefield 3 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Dance Central 2 (X360), Kinect Sports: Season Two (X360), Pokemon Rumble Blast (3DS), Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi (X360), and Kirby’s Return to Dreamland (Wii).
The top five games include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360), Battlefield 3 (X360), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (X360), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3), and Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC).
The top six games have 500,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top 14 has 200,000 or more pre-orders, down from 15 last week. Five games add 100,000 or more pre-orders, last week and 14 add 20,000 or more, up from 13 last week.
Games in final week before launch
Battlefield 3 (X360) is the top game to be in its final week before launch. The game is at number two as it adds 148,000 pre-orders, up from 133,000 last week, for a grand total of 1.22 million. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 1.75 million to 2.25 million unit range.
Battlefield 3 (PS3) is up two spots to number six as it adds 102,000 pre-orders, up from 64,000 last week, for a final total of 550,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 750,000 to one million unit range.
Battlefield 3 (PC) is at number 14 as it adds 58,000 pre-orders for a total of 204,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 300,000 to 400,000 unit range.
Dance Central 2 (X360) is at number 25 as it adds 18,000 pre-orders for a grand total of 75,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 125,000 to 150,000 unit range.
Kinect Sports: Season Two (X360) is at number 39 as it adds 10,000 pre-orders for a final total of 56,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 75,000 to 110,000 unit range.
Pokemon Rumble Blast (3DS) is at number 41 as it adds 10,000 pre-orders for a grand total of 54,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 75,000 to 100,000 unit range.
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi (X360) is at number 44 as it adds 12,000 pre-orders for a total of 47,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 75,000 to 95,000 unit range.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland (Wii) is at number 48 as it adds 11,000 pre-orders for a final total of 43,000. Expect first week sales in the Americas to be in the 70,000 to 85,000 unit range.
Other Hot Games
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) is at the top as it adds 261,000 pre-orders, up from 162,000 pre-orders the previous week. The game currently has 1.98 million pre-orders and is three weeks away from launch, November 8 in both the Americas and EMEAA. The game has now pass Call of Duty: Black Ops (X360) total pre-orders and is well on its way to shooting past the two million mark.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) is at number four as it adds 100,000 pre-orders up from 67,000 last week. The game is currently at 773,000 pre-orders and will launch in three weeks, November 8 in both the Americas and EMEAA. The gap between it and Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3), the game with the biggest opening for the PlayStation 3, has grown this week from 56,000 to 114,000.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii) is up two spots to number seven, as it adds 39,000 pre-orders, up from 23,000 last week, for a total of 453,000. The game is five weeks away from launch, November 18 in EMEAA and November 20 in the Americas.
Also in the top 10: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (X360) is at number three as it adds 105,000 pre-orders, up from 61, 000 last week, for a total of 804,000. The game is three weeks away from launch, November 11 in both the Americas and EMEAA.
Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC) is at number five as it adds 66,000 pre-orders, up from 35,000 last week, for a total of 697,000. The game is nine weeks away from launch, December 20 in the Americas and December 22 in EMEAA.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (X360) is up two spots to number eight, as it adds 23,000 pre-orders, up from 19,000 last week, for a total of 432,000. The game is four weeks away from launch, November 15 in the Americas and EMEAA.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (X360) jumps into the top ten at number nine, as it adds 39,000 pre-orders up from 29,000 last week, for a total of 411,000. The game is four weeks away from launch, November 15 in the Americas and EMEAA.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3) jumps into the top ten to number ten, as it adds 48,000 pre-orders up 22,000 last week, for a total of 355,000. The game is two weeks away from launch, November 1 in the Americas, November 2 in Japan and November 4 in EMEAA.
Notable mentions outside the top 10: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PS3) adds 37,000 pre-orders for a total of 288,000. Saints Row: The Third (X360) adds 31,000 pre-orders for a total of 183,000. Super Mario 3DLand (3DS) adds 16,000 pre-orders for a total of 100,000.

Glad for the Zelda jump.
Battlefield 3 is looking to get 3 million at least across all platforms in America on its opening week. With the rest of the world, could be looking at a 4 million opening week. Also good to see Halo: Anniversary and Zelda: Skyward sword rising. In their final weeks, both should be able to top 600k in preorders and possibly look to 1 million sales in the opening week. Not bad. Also glad to see it back to a top 50. Nice to see some 3DS games in there and see how some of next year releases are doing thus far.
Compare UC 2's preorders to UC 3! I want to see how it is faring.

it's been announced 10 days ago that the 20th was now a global release (at the UK gaming event).
The PS3 version of MW3 is going to reach 1M,no doubt about it.

Hoping for 400K for Uncharted 3, which should make it an easy 1 million WW opening. A very good start, but still less than it deserves.

i was hoping for half a million pre orders for uncharted 3, it will properly be just under
22 games in the top 50 are X360 games while 16 are PS3 games. The rest consists mainly of PC games, with 5.

Well Black Ops opened to just over 4 million and it already has more preorders than it does (although I think we had underestimated preorders on previous COD games). 5 million isn't out of reach and would be quite the feat. Just amazing how fast Call of Duty has become so big in America and Europe.
I couldn't picture a ridiculous selling CoD game after Mw2....but then black ops came.
