E3 2011: Kinect Fun Labs Announced

This morning at Microsoft's  Xbox Press Conference, Creative Director for Kinect Kudo Tsunoda announced Kinect Fun Labs. This new program lets players with innovative Kinect demos that people are making on the SDK. They demonstrated some impressive tech including people tracking, finger scanning and digital object capturing, which allows you to scan and upload digital recreations of real world objects to manipulate in game. Gamers can create their onw avatars, cars, and more through Kinect scanning.

Kinect Fun Labs is available today for all Xbox Live members.

This actually makes me consider buying a kinect more than the "real" games do.
