New Issue of Famitsu has arrived, and there's a lot of new announcements and info. But let's start with the scores:

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (PSP, Bandai Namco): 7 / 8 / 8 / 8 - (31/40)
Gendai Daisenryaku: Isshoku Sokuhatsu - Gunji Balance Houkai (PSP, System Soft): 6 / 5 / 5 / 5 - (21/40)
Gendai Daisenryaku: Isshoku Sokuhatsu - Gunji Balance Houkai (PS2, System Soft): 5 / 4 / 4 / 4 - (17/40)

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (PS3/Xbox 360, CyberFront): 8 / 6 / 7 / 8 - (29/40)

On to new games, and SEGA's big new RPG announcement is Phantasy Star Portable 2. The game takes place 3 years after the first one. The most important news is this one will feature both ad-hoc and INFRASTRUCTURE modes for online play, and there will be Lobby and Chat options as well.

Capcom's popular Sengoku Basara series is coming to Wii/PS3, and it's Sengoku Basara 3. This is the first simultaneous multiplatform release for a new entry in the main series.

Big surprise in this week's Famitsu is the announcement of Persona 3 Portable. The game itself is based on FES, and features new female protagonist, music, changes to soc-link system. It's scheduled for November 1 release in Japan.

Also in this issue, we learn that popular PSP mascot Loco Roco is getting a new game - Loco Roco Midnight Carnival. It will be PSN exclusive, and will feature new action button 'Boin'. Like Persona 3 Portable, it's scheduled for November 1 release in Japan.

Persona 3 Portable and Loco Roco Midnight Carnival are PSP GO launch games in Japan.

There's a new Famitsu feature on Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, the game appears to be coming along well.

From Software's interesting looking new PS3 game is 3D Dot Heroes. It's the work of Ninja Blade producer Masanori Takeuchi, and is scheduled for November release in Japan.

On Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep front, the game is definitely scheduled for 2009 release in Japan. Expect a blowout in next issue of Famitsu.

Art looks vaguely similar to '30 Sec Hero' one, I wonder if it's the same artist...

Wow. So 30 Dot Heroes huh?

I guess From Software had a bit more success with PS3 than 360 last year.

Zexen: It's based on FES, but there will be a lot of changes, new scenarios, music, revamp of soc-link stuff, female protagonist, new difficulty modes, and more.

No screens, Rafa. I'm sure they will be released soon enough since the game is scheduled for November 1 release.

There's new Basara for Wii. I was surprised by the Super Robo Gakuen score, hopefully there are no fundamental flaws.

Interesting to see a game being made for the Wii and also PS3... but leaving out the 360 completely. It must be that they do not foresee any profit in making the game on the console. Can't wait for BBS :-)
