SEGA Reveals First 5 SEGA Ages Titles Coming to the Switch - News

SEGA has revealed the first five SEGA Ages titles that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Here is a list of the games coming to the Nintendo Switch:

Sonic the Hedgehog
Gain Ground
Thunder Force IV
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Phantasy Star

I hope they put Game Gear and Master System games on AGES as well, Sonic 1 on Game Gear is one I'd love to buy on Switch.

Loved Phantasy Star as a Kid, one of my favourite games... Unfortunately nowadays it is a nightmare to play through. Kind of weird that Dragon Warrior ultimately ended up aging a whole lot better.

I think Dragon Warrior's simplicity is what helped it to age so well, simple graphics and gameplay. Phantasy Star was kind of born out of the desire to counter Dragon Warrior, and while it is flashier, it is not as enjoyable to go through these days. Especially with the 3D Dungeons with no good maps...
