SEGA Ages Announced for Switch - News

SEGA Ages, the long-running series of classic SEGA titles that began on the Saturn, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, the company announced at SEGA Fes 2018.

More than 15 titles will be available including Phantasy StarSonic the Hedgehog, and Thunder Force IV. The ports will be handled by M2, who previously worked on the 3D Classics series for 3DS.

I'm confused. What is the difference between this and Sega Genesis Collection? And why is this one better?

Genesis Collection will be an overall cheap ROM dump. AGES will be a la carte buy what you want and the games will be more finely tuned/improved by M2 from what I've gathered.
