Capcom announced Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 3 in North America and Europe.

View the latest trailer below:

Here is an overview of the game:

Based in an epic fantasy setting, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore and interact in this rich and detailed world. Choose between nine different classes and embark on your own adventure along with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These allies fight independently, develop alongside your character, and can be shared or borrowed online in exchange for treasure, tips and more.

This version contains the original Dragon’s Dogma along with all additional content from its expansion Dark Arisen, including the Bitterblack Isle area, filled with challenging new enemies and quests, and additional high level weapons and armour sets.

Oooh boy. I loved DDDA on the PS3. Very much looking forward to playing it again with a higher frame rate/resolution.

Any word on what resolution and frame rate the game will play?

That actually hasn't been specified yet, but going from the trailer, it's gotten a bump from 720 to 1080, and the frame rate is better. To what degree I can't say. Looks like everything else is the same, which is fine by me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGrGtFX1P-Y

No, that hasn't been specified yet. Going from the reveal trailer, it looks like a bump from 720 to 1080, and the frame rate is probably a locked 30. Not sure about any other possible improvements. It doesn't look like an overly ambitious upgrade, but I'm fine with that.

Wont get it again, once for PS3 and the recent PC version is enough. well I might get it if they make a Switch version.
