The latest Nintendo Direct has just finished, and it sure gave us more of an insight into the 3DS' future this year, as well as some Wii U related info. You can find a full summary of the event here (and coverage of the newly announced Yoshi and Zelda titles here and here, respectively). A host of more low-key/niche games were also announced to be headed to our shores:

Mario Party 3D

A Mario Party game for the 3DS was announced. The game will feature 7 different game boards, each with unique attributes (Examples given included the ability to collect boosts to increase your roll, and the ability to sabotage teammates). Mario Party 3D will release later this year.

Guild 02 Series

The three games in the Guild 02 series - Starship Damray (a text novel), Bugs vs. Tanks (an action game) and Attack of the Friday Monsters (an adventure game) - will be releasing on the 3DS eShop later this year

EarthBound (Virtual Console)

Nintendo haven't entirely forgotten about the Mother/EarthBound series it seems. The second game in the series - EarthBound - is heading to the west later this year in the form of a Virtual Console release.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is confirmed to be coming to the EU later this year. So is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, due to "unprecedented demand". Other titles headed to the West include: Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (no word on the Ace Attorney crossover, though), The Legend of Zelda: Oracle games, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, Mario Golf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and Mario and Donkey Kong.
