According to a new trailer, a sequel to the adorable MapleStory is in development - and it seems like it'll be in three glorious dimensions.
According to Destructoid, the graphical overhaul isn't all that's new; a new "gameplay system" is set to be introduced. Precisely what that means is unclear, so we'll probably have to wait until the game's beta in early 2014 to find out.
The visuals in this trailer probably aren't a representation of what the actual game will look like but the animation is very impressive, with crisp and consistently cute visuals throughout. Hopefully the finished product won't be too far off this.
