The Witcher: Battle Arena Announced - News
by VGChartz Staff , posted on 02 July 2014 / 2,063 ViewsIt seems everyone wants to get involved with MOBA's these days, with CD Projekt Red being the latest developer to have a crack at the increasingly popular genre.
The Witcher: Battle Arena will be a free to play MOBA for iOS, Android and Windows Tablet devices. The game is simplified for touch use, with CD Projekt Red trying out new game mechanics like no respawn time, meaning players can get right back into the action.
When Eurogamer interviewed project manager Tadek Zielinski, he said the game was: "A free game. A genuinely free game. You know we are fair with gamers. We are known for giving away stuff for free. We believe free is fair. So we wanted to realise our philosophy also with the MOBA game."
Tadek says that the only time users will have to pay is if they don't want to grind at all, maybe for those players that have less time and just want to enjoy the game.
The Witcher: Battle Arena is set to launch Q4 2014.
