Xbox One vs Wii U – VGChartz Gap Charts – April 2014 Update

XOne Vs. Wii U Global:

Gap change in latest month: 210,843 – XOne

Gap change over last 12 months: n/a

Total Lead: 1,621,145 – Wii U

Xbox One Total Sales: 4,595,168

Wii U Total Sales: 6,126,313

In the sixth month on sale the Xbox One closed the gap between it and the Wii U shrunk by another 210,843. The Wii U currently leads by 1,621,145 units. The Xbox One needs to average 202,643 units per month more than the Wii U to pass it by the end of the year.

The Xbox One launched in North America and Europe on November 22. The Wii U launched in November 2012. The Wii U has sold 6,126,313 units to date, while the Xbox One has sold 4,505,168 units.

Mays gap will grow with MK and people holding off till the KInect-less SKU comes out in June. Should start to shrink again after June.

dude wii u is getting its ass kicked, when june 9th comes along its going to be graped by a 400$ xbox one, the final nail to nail wii u to 3rd is halo=)

The title should be Xbox one lead and the stats should be an aligned launch like the ps4 vs ps3 chart.

No next month is May and the cheaper model is coming in June. In fact, Xbox One sales should go down a little until then because of people waiting out for the cheaper model.

The week of May is:
3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
I think XO wills sell less of 40,000 on 24 and 31, like 3DS before price drop.
