The Playforge, the developer of Zombie Farm, has been hit with layoffs. President Jack Sorensen has confirmed with Inside Mobile Apps that some of the team had been let go. The studio will be spending less time developing new games and focus on supporting the Zombie Farm and Tree World franchises.
This is the second round of layoffs for the developer this year. In July, around 20 employees were laid off. This was equal to 40 percent of the total workforce. These layoffs were due to increased costs and the poor performances of new titles.
