USA Preorders Chart, 27 October 2012 - Assassin's Creed III, Persona 4 - News

There are three games in the top 20 to be in its final week before launch, Assassin’s Creed III for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Vita, Persona 4: The Golden (PSV) and WWE ’13 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. As a reminder the Pro data is back up, which means that I am taking requests again for games outside the top 20.
The top five games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top nine has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 10 last week. Five games added 20,000 or more, down from six last week and 10 added 10,000 or more, up from nine last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Assassin’s Creed III (X360) added 106,107 pre-orders for a grand total of 671,507. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 0.8 million to 1.1 million unit range. Expect the game to sell between 2 million and 3 million units lifetime.

Assassin’s Creed III (PS3) added 83,454 pre-orders for a grand total of 443,167. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 500,000 to 700,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 1.5 million and 2.2 million units lifetime.

- Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (PS3, 2011) – 362,992 week one USA, 1.13 million to date
Assassin’s Creed III (PC) added 6,415 pre-orders for a grand total of 86,288. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 100,000 to 150,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 300,000 and 400,000 units lifetime.

Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation (PSV) added 11,616 pre-orders for a grand total of 61,860. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 80,000 to 120,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 200,000 and 300,000 units lifetime.
Persona 4: The Golden (PSV) added 4,422 pre-orders for a grand total of 93,026. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 100,000 to 150,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 200,000 and 300,000 units lifetime.
WWE ‘13 (X360) added 16,074 pre-orders for a grand total of 84,004. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 120,000 and 160,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 400,000 and 500,000 units lifetime.
- WWE ‘12 (X360, 2011) – 214,693 week one USA, 554,028 to date
WWE ‘13 (PS3) added 17,788 pre-orders for a grand total of 77,614. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 120,000 and 160,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 350,000 and 450,000 units lifetime.
- WWE ‘12 (PS3, 2011) – 154,879 week one USA, 412,053 to date
Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending November 3
Medal of Honor Warfighter (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 70,000 in its second week on sales. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 50,000 units. The PC version is expected to drop to around 12,000 units.
Forza: Horizon (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 50,000 units in its second week.
Skylanders Giants (Wii) sales are expected to drop to around 25,000 units in its second week. The Xbox 360 version is expected to drop to around 12,000 units.
Overall hardware sales are expected to increase by anywhere from 20 percent to 30 percent in the US.
Other Hot Games

Halo 4 (X360) added 178,502 pre-orders, up from 121,613 last week, for a total of 1,179,659. The game has fallen 203,000 units behind Halo: Reach during the same number of weeks before release. The game is two weeks away from launch in the USA, November 6, 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II (X360) added 115,482 pre-orders, up from 87,386 last week, for a total of 1,217,231. The game has grown to 763,000 pre-orders behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) during the same number of weeks before release. The game is three weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3) added 83,043 pre-orders, up from 62,838 last week, for a total of 723,992. The game has fallen 49,000 pre-orders Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3). The game is three weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.
Notable mentions: BioShock Infinite (X360) added 18,571 pre-orders for a total of 156,110. BioShock Infinite (PS3) added 12,784 pre-orders for a total of 94,125. Hitman: Absolution (X360) added 8,540 pre-orders for a total of 129,360.
Requests: New Super Mario Bros. U (WiiU) added 12,321 pre-orders for a total of 53,051. Paper Mario: Sticker Star (3DS) added 7,822 pre-orders for a total of 39,514. Pikmin 3 (WiiU) added 1,730 pre-orders for a total of 11,531.

I will be surprised if Persona 4: Golden charts next week, seeing as how all the retailers have the release listed for November 20th.
Also, there are four games in this top 20 list that are in their last week before release. Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation is not Assassin's Creed 3.

Why does NintendoLand and ZombieU have a 10 indicated as "weeks to launch" when Super Mario Bros U has 4, and all 3 games release on the same day?
Persona 4: The Golden is releasing on 20th November. Do some research before posting.
Halo 4 FW will be epic shouldn't expect anything less.
Compare these to next weeks which have just been posted. Not looked far down the list but Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 have both received a significant revision.

It would be fun if a week prior to the release of the Wii U, there would be a comparative chart outlining all the Wii U pre-orders compared to those during the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3. Just a thought. If not well wondering what the pre-orders are for Black Ops 2 Wii U

Can we possibly get a better tracking mechanism for this? I really feel like EVERYTHING is undertracked. Halo 4 isn't that far behind Reach and little stuff like Playstation All Stars isn't behind Sly 4. Jeez.
