@ postofficebuddy, Donkey Kong Country itself was Western made and it sold almost as well as Super Mario World in Japan. I think DC'll be fine. A lot of casual Japanese gamers probably wouldn't known it wasn't homegrown, and DK is still a staple Nintendo character. Message | Report |

Well, Soma, pre-orders alone are 226,000 in America. So even if absolutely no one else buys it in the opening week, and no one buys it period in Japan (which, I think you'll admit. is unlikely) it's still a respectable opening. But I think it's going to be fine. Message | Report |

This is really nice platformer in the vein of the old donkey kong country's. Plus you can flop back and forth between foreground and background much like Klonoa does. The bosses are hard, the levels are designed extremely well and the game is just really challening. Great job nintendo. Message | Report |
