How can anyone hate Donkey Kong entirely? Anyway, I feel this game has superior gameplay to the previous DKC titles. I've been very satisfied with it so far. It might end up my game of the year at this rate.

II just commit a sin...I own a Wii, I love platformers and I will never pick-up this game bcs I hate Donkey Kong. I still hope everyone who like this DK will enjoy this game.

Well, Soma, pre-orders alone are 226,000 in America. So even if absolutely no one else buys it in the opening week, and no one buys it period in Japan (which, I think you'll admit. is unlikely) it's still a respectable opening. But I think it's going to be fine.

This is really nice platformer in the vein of the old donkey kong country's. Plus you can flop back and forth between foreground and background much like Klonoa does. The bosses are hard, the levels are designed extremely well and the game is just really challening. Great job nintendo.
