Zombie Cow Ditches "Hated Name," Becomes Size Five Games - News

Remember Zombie Cow Studios, the guys behind the controversial shooter-meets-sex game Privates?

Well, guess what: they're gone now... well, more like sort of gone. In reality, they've closed down and reformed each other (or in a manner of speaking, that is) in order to change name to Size Five Games.

The reason: “I’ve always hated the name Zombie Cow,” as head honcho Dan Marshall put it. “You only get one life, and there’s no point going through it unhappy with something if it’s well within your capability to change it. So I’m changing it.”

Marshall added: “That said, this is probably pretty reckless. Zombie Cow was just starting to get a bit of a name for itself. I think it’s fair to say we’re one of the better-known UK developers, so this could be a disaster. Hopefully we’re not going back to Square One. Rest assured that Size Five Games is exactly the same, just with a different name and a trendier website.”

As part of the change, every one of the prior Zombie Cow games (which also include Been There, Dan That! and Cruxade) have already been migrated to the Size Five label, which (according to Marshall) represents making "the fifth size of game[s]." As for what's to come down the line, on the other hand, Marshall isn't quite ready to mention the first project represented entirely under the new label. That said, Marshall says it's his "most ambitious and exciting project. Hopefully I’ll be in a position to blab about all that very soon.”
