Yeah i have to agree they arent as cool as they use to be like the Halo 3 bundle,but bundles started out just being a regular console and a game so one cant complain, it shouldnt be called a "special edition" tho,there isnt any thing special about it just a 250gb hdd but regardless its a good bundle

@nightsurge

120GB PS3 is NOT a bundle. You shouldn't even compare them.

It's a good deal. If you compare it to the 250gb ps3 which is $50 cheaper, this bundle includes a $60 game and a $40 controller. So you save about $50.

@zzamaro:

How about you talk about this in regards to console pricing. 120GB PS3 is $300, 250GB is $350. So for the extra space on a PS3 it costs $50. On the 360 you are getting the bigger hard drive + game + second controller. $50 + $60 + $40. So you are getting $300 + $150 worth of stuff for just $400.

@kowenicki

No, I don't think it's worth the price. Read my whole comment.

I have to ask: Is there any difference between the PS3 HDD and the X360 HDD? Because a 400GB for the PS3 costs around $80.

About the bundle, I think it's a rip-off, just like the ff13 bundle:

XBOX arcade with controller included: $199.99
2nd controller: $39.99, it got a price drop
game: $59.99
HDD: 400GB for $80, less for the $250GB
don't know if it includes something else

total: $380, I rounded it.

all they're doing is getting a system, throw a game inside the box, and then call it a limited special edition avaliable only in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, soviet russia, china, mexico, ukrain, afganastain, uzbeckistan, san diego zoo, 7 eleven liqour stores, and anything that has a door with a sign that say open. Then all the special ed kids with helmets on, rush to buy it

Meh... not very appealing. At least the FFXIII bundle came with a special designed HDD. Amazon is also giving away a free FFXIII faceplate with the bundle.

why don't they actually do a design on the console... it'd be a real special edition....

these bundles are great deals, I just wish they would include a custom faceplate. I might have gotten the FF13 bundle if it just wasnt white :S

Like all these other special edition bundles, it's a good deal, as I got MW2 bundle last November myself. The question is why no modified faceplate for this and FF13?

I guess if you have nothing , its not a bad deal, but for me, I have a 360 with 2 wireless controllers now, a wireless headset, 120 gig HD, so for me not a good deal, I dont need 4 wireless controllers for 400 bucks, I will just take the game,
