Whoa. 5.6m sales. Good chance it will hit 6m before this generation is over - never thought I would see a 6m seller on one platform in Japan, ever. If the Wii does even half of this, it will be a monster.

The hardware sales are interesting. I thought PS3 would fall off more but it seems it can catch up even if there are no games.
the 5 Million vs 10 million race will be decided in the next 2 weeks. If the Wii cant sell 130K more Consoles then the PS3 in the next 2 weeks it wont be able to win anymore. because then there is FF13 So NSMBWII has to prove how big it really is in Japan. Especially if its a (big) Systemseller. The PS3 has nothing to offer until FF13 so it should be easy for the Wii to gain some sales but even if they outsell 65k weekly the next 2 weeks. WII and PS3 would be just tied then comes FF. Its looking very good for the PS3 in Japan at the moment. Dont know how long this hype will last but for sure the next 4 weeks atleast.
soon the 360 will outsell the PSP Go at this rate, shame its such a waste to the Playstation brand :(

8k increase, or over 25% increase for psp from last week. If ps3 sees a 25% increase everywhere outside of America, we're looking at about 715k units worldwide...nicely done. Decrease for 360 sales from last week...I see about 465k worldwide sales for 360 seeming pretty good. 715-465=250k...
Wii also had a very nice boost of 12k units, and passed up the ps3 from last week...sweet.

Abolt Layton its a amazing unic game, its deserves all the sales , i crazy to take a look on the movie its coming now on 12th 12 2009 - it gonna rocks ^^

Layton has become a real monster franchise. Don't think Level 5 really expected that, but they are great games, and it's good when great games gets rewarded with great sales.

randoflexx, it doesn't matter, PS3 and 360 are getting more quality software in their library game overall, and that is the most important thing from us.

Wow psp is doing good. Maybe the Pspgo was a ploy to increase PSP 3000 sales? PS3 is hanging in there but still behind the Wii.DSILL is doing way better than I thought it would. Assumed it would be at least neck and neck with DSi.
