So, there'll be a Pro console in a few weeks. It may slightly expand the current margin. But in other regions the margin will be huge. In other article it was mentioned that in Americas 18 mln Xbox Series were sold out of 29. After Pro launch XS' sales are gonna slow down outside America, almost no doubt. It feels like Indiana Jones: The Great Cirlce won't help to raise sales in Europe and Asia.
I do not anticipate the margin changing at all if the PS5 Pro is marketed at $600 or $700. Maybe one month of solid sales, and a very slight bump for the holiday, but that's about all I see it doing. Sell it for $100 less, then there's a good chance of success imo. As far as XBSX sales are concerned, hard to say what will happen. Microsoft does have a good lineup planned for next year, so I struggle to see any further YoY drops for F'26. What really matters is how GTAVI is marketed between the systems. Could Microsoft reach a deal with Rockstar for GTA exclusivity benefits? Or has Sony already achieved this goal?
I doubt Rockstar is willing to side with either PS or Xbox on marketing deals. Microsoft does have a good announced line-up, but with pc gaming on the rise that might not help the sales of Xbox consoles all that much.
