Feels like yesterday when the series was up in the air in the west. Happy that we are in this timeline.

Good game but locking difficulties and NG+ behind a paywall is scummy

Both very moronic decisions that if was another game I would avoid buying and since they didn't launch a disc version in Brazil so far I did my best to pay as little as possible to play.

Yeah, the previous game was quite good, but they had a job/class locked behind DLC. I haven't heard about that being the case this time, so maybe they at least listened to the feedback for that one. But NG+ and difficulties also shouldn't be paid extras. I'll play the game, because it sounds great, but I won't buy NG+, etc.

Game is great although some adaptations for western taste didn't fit well for me.
It is curious how they are happy with 1M sales on first weekend while some other would say it didn't meet expectations with 5M on the same timeframe.
Team Ryu ga Gotoku are very smart on their asset use/recycling to be able to keep a steady roll of games with good budget and profitability on great series that isn't a blockbuster. Usually I don't keep up with series that have multiple entries and I though it would have ended already, but for Yakuza I smile ear to ear with each entry.

Kiryu's English voice in particular is something I see a lot of people not happy with. I was going to say I'll play in Japanese anyway, but I do have one reason to switch to English at certain parts, and that's for events involving the character Kei. The same voice actress does the voice for both versions, but the things she says in English are much more funny than what she says in Japanese, for some reason.
