Read details on the game below:
Palworld is an open-world survival crafting game that supports up to 32 players and is set in a world where mysterious creatures called “Pals” live.
Along your adventures, you will encounter many Pals. Capture them, make them work, fight, breed and even sell them. You can adventure in a large world alongside your Pals.
Over 100 Pals
In Palworld, mysterious creatures called “Pal” live in the wild. There are also many rare pals such as subspecies, bosses, legends, lucky pals, etc. Additionally, more Pals will continue to be added in future updates.
Capture and Train Pals
Every pal has a special skill for you to utilize. There are also Pals that can fly and Pals that can use guns!
Vast Open World and many Dungeons to Explore
There are various areas such as plains, deserts, snowy mountains, and volcanoes, and the pals living there are all different. There are also many dungeons with hidden treasures and special pals. Set out on a great adventure in search of unknown treasures and unknown pals.
Fight Against Leaders of Hostile Factions and Field Bosses
As you explore the vast open world, you may come across giant Pals. In addition, each biome has a hostile faction based there, whose leaders stand in your way and won’t back down without a fight.
Fight Alongside Pals using a Wide Variety of Weapons
From traditional weapons such as bows and swords to modern weapons such as assault rifles and rocket launchers. Some pals can use heavy weapons such as Gatling guns and missile launchers!
Build a Base
Leave production, farming, cooking, power generation, etc. to your pals. Pals work in ways that suit their personalities. However, pals are also living creatures like us. If you forget to give them food and rest, it will negatively affect their motivation.
Supports Multiplayer for up to 32 Players
Palworld can be played alone as well as multiplayer. By forming a guild and cooperating with your friends, you can adventure together towards a common goal. Player Battles will be implemented in a future update.

Crazy, I don't think anybody expected "Pokemon with guns" to sell this well when it was first announced. 2m sales in 24 hours is made all the more impressive by the fact that the game is on Gamepass on both Xbox and PC, so the player count numbers are probably like double the sales numbers or more. It's also only early access, not a full release.
I personally thought the whole idea was a bit dumb and done in poor taste, but evidently not.
Me too
Microsoft better start marketing the hell out of that game in Japan. If there's ever been a game able to help push Xbox hardware over there, it is this one.
They have a thousand clones in Japan in the same fashion. It's just that this one made out of the country.
If they add new pals at a fast rate and capitalize on the collection aspect, I think it will help the game continue to keep a playerbase.
It has now hit 3m sales in 40 hours.
Just started playing today. So far it's just like any survival game but with pals. I can see the potential, but I'm just not huge on survival games. Let's see if the pals aspect keeps me engaged.
Ton of my friends were praising it so I gave it a shot and man it feel like just another basic survival game. Maybe if it was $5-$10 I would suggest a die hard pokemon fan try it but at the current price it is a hard to recommend it.
I see Life is Strange 2 in that list, and I was one of the suckers that bought it. Sad how bad it was compared to the original, it's a painful memory. What makes Palworld's success so remarkable is it doesn't have the "sequel effect" it is definitely the "original game" effect.
I wonder how high Mass Effect 2 would have gotten in today's age. Might be #1 of all time if it was Steam only and released today. I don't know a single friend that didn't buy ME2 on its release. It was new and different and a sequel at the same time and I still consider it the best game of all time.
Honestly I knew it would it would have some level of success but nothing on this scale. Tam Tams show that following the Pokémon formula alone does not guarantee success, but a look at the most recent trailer of this does show a lot more ambition then that comparison & a contemporary twist which is popular with this gen of kids.
It reminds me that DokeV another monster collecting game is actually the one I expected to do do like 5m first week. We haven't had an update on that for a while.
not surprised people like pokemon fortnite
