Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch OLED Model on Friday, October 8. The console had a strong start in the UK, according to GfK Entertainment.

The Switch OLED boosted Switch sales to the 14th biggest week ever for the Switch in the UK. The 13 higher weeks were all during peak Christmas and Black Friday sales, or the launch week of the Switch itself.

The console easily beat out the launch week of the Nintendo Switch Lite, which had the 57th biggest week for the Switch. The Switch Lite had a slow start and now accounts for 20 percent of Switch sales since it launched.

The Switch OLED accounted for 70% of all Switch sales last week and after just one week accounts for seven percent of all Switch sales in the UK in 2021.

The biggest week for the Switch in the UK was Black Friday 2019, then Black Friday 2018, followed by Black Friday 2020.

I hate them...They have the accurate numbers, but these info are reserved for big investors who can afford it. These info should be excluded here by principle.

I agree they should release the accurate number but we but we at least get some info. We can try and do some math. 70% of last week and 7% of 2001 switches. The 14th biggest week for switch in uk. All 13 higher positions are during the peak Christmas and Black Friday sales periods. Bigger than Switch launch week. bigger than the launch week of the Nintendo Switch Lite. The light represent 20% of all switches in the uk. The 3 biggest week were black friday 2019, 2018 and 2020 in that order. I still agree With all those statements they should have given a number.

So about 30k OLED’s and about 45000k switches sold last week in UK.
Possibly looking for around 150-175k in Europe last week.

Can't wait to see the weeks' monster numbers. Gonna be a BIG quarter for Switch. Maybe a 12 million hardware quarter. With two games launching that should hit 10 million before the year is out. Plus Dread. Plus Genesis/N64 expansion.
