Resident Evil Village producer Pete Fabiano an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine said the SSD in the PlayStation 5 will practically get rid of any load times in the game.

"[PS5 SSD will] virtually eliminating load times allowing players to keep the feeling of immersion," said Fabiano.

The game will also take advantage of the Tempest 3D audio available in the PlayStation 5, according to Fabiano. He says "you’ll be fully bathed in audio from all directions."

He also says Resident Evil Village will be "much larger" than Resident Evil VII Biohazard.

I haven't played sn RE in like 20 years. Maybe it's time for me to give the series a try.

That an innocuous comment like this can receive downvotes is ludicrous. To the comment: I thought 7 looked really good, but I find horror games too tense, and have for a while. The last one I played and enjoyed was RE4, and that wasn't even, in my opinion, a real horror game. RE7, as great as it looked, just screamed tension. Too much tension.

I really don't care about this :D. They just have created excuses to prove that the price of this console is fair and this game.

According to the article, in real life, the PS5 SSD performance can still be better than this new Samsung 980.

And yet there are more faster SSD's on the way...

You seem to believe PS5 SSD>everything else till the end of time, but that's something to expect from a rabid fan.
