Surprised at this point there isn’t a dedicated PS5 and Series X version.
Not really needed given its basically a remaster with visual tweaks. But even using BC they could improve visual settings.
It says there is a performance and visual quality mode. Ideally the next gen version would simply be quality graphics mode at 60 fps.
Do I still need to do the horrible multiplayer thing for the best army in ME3?
Does the 'readiness' scale properly? If you did everything in ME3 but never played MP you could only ever get like 70%.
I was hoping it was coming out a bit earlier since I need that Mass Effect itch to be scratched, but at least it's not coming out on N7 day.
Secondly, just noticed X1X/PS5 have a performance mode. What? They can't run this this at 4k/60
Its not the exact same visuals as last gen, so its gonna be more demanding.
Not played any of the Mass Effect games. Just got a new laptop so guess I'm picking this up, sounds like a great deal.
I'll probably wait for more news on the sequel before deciding on this. If that's the way the story's going to end, I'm not going to play through it again. I just can't muster the energy to play/watch anything where I know the ending's going to be bad. If the story's going to continue (which idk how they can do without changing the ending) then maybe I'll play it out of hope there's something better afterwards.
I forgot if it was part 2 or 3 where you go after the reapers. Dissapointed with the ending.
seriously? no 60fps?
Sounds like 60 fps is just for premium consoles and next gen. If it were the original 7th gen graphics then 1080/60 fps would be easier to achieve.
Absolutely keen.
Next stop Dragon Age if this is a success?
Been waiting on this for years. Hope it delivers.
Damn, no Switch version.
yeah.. will be waiting for that
Its sticking with Unreal Engine, so a Switch port should be easy.
100% buy from me, however, pathetic job. Better be cheap, looks identical.
Lol. It doesn’t look identical at all. But it’s a remaster, not a remake. If Super Mario 3D All Star can be sold at full price with barely any job done to the original games, then a trilogy of games that have received character models rework, improved textures across the board, better lighting and shaders, along with plenty of QoL tweaks and improvements, can probably get away with a similar price tag.
