Geoff Keighley announced publisher Electronic Arts and developer BioWare will provide an exclusive new look at the next Dragon Age game during The Game Awards next week.

The next Dragon Age game was announced two years ago at The Game Awards 2018. Since then we got a behind-the-scenes video in August, but have yet to see any gameplay.

The Game Awards will air on December 10 at 6:30 pm ET / 3:30 pm PT. It will be a virtual event this year due to COVID-19.

I can't wait to see what kind of loot boxes and other microtransactions EA has in store.

Dragon Age: Origins. - One of my most games of all times.
Dragon Age: Inquisition. - My favorite Gen 8 game.

There was no Dragon Age 2.

Bring the goods EA and Bioware, bring the goods.

Same here, for both :) I actually replayed Inquisition a while ago. If they build up on that (esp. the pause/tactical combat mode), next one will be even better.

I am excited and terrified for this game. EA is going to ruin it, I'm sure of it.

So Geoff revealed a “dev diary” trailer of Dragon Age for his Gamescom ONL only to announce a proper trailer at TGA. Either way, let’s see if BioWare will spin their reputation with a great Dragon Age sequel

As long as EA didn't stick their nose in like the first time delaying, remaking and now looking at Anthem and realising the GaaS crap bullcrap is done we are good.

Indeed. I have some hope EA starts to realize how harmful their practices are to their studios, and that shutting them down is also not a great solution. The Dragon Age case is also a wildcard, due to the departure of some key people from the studio. We’ll see

Is it here? Is it finally time after all these years of me waiting and replaying over and over again that I finally, GLORIOUSLY, get my chance to stab Solas? stab stab stab

As long as EA has learned their lesson I think this will be a great game, star wars jedi was pretty decent!

Yeah... I remember a decade ago, Bioware was somewhat of a respected, but declining studio. Who even cares about this?

I really hope it's better than inquisition (the hinterlands!)
