PS4 and Xbox One vs PS3 and Xbox 360 - Aligned Sales Comparison - April 2016 Update - Sales

The gap grew in favor of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in April for the third straight month. The gap in the latest month grew by 30,273 units and 7,862,539 units in the last 12 months. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One lead by a combined 21.22 million units.
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in their first 30 months have sold a combined 40.43 million units, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold a combined 61.65 million units.
The PlayStation 4 by itself has sold more units than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 combined during the same amount of time. The PlayStation 4 is ahead by just 160,131 units.

Fantastic. 20m lead for ps4 + x1 and that will certainly grow a lot before the end of this year. Basically this gen will build up a massive lead and even if it's front loaded the end result will be very positive.
