Final Fantasy VII Remake to Take a Closer Look at Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie - News

Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase, director Tetsuya Nomura, and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima have shared more details on the game in Famitsu.
They note that the game will take a closer look at the story of Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie. They also confirm that players will be able to explore all of the areas of Midgar.
The developers didn't reveal how many parts the game will be split into, however the main scenario for the first part is already completed.
The voice cast is expected to be the same as that from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Off-topic: That picture makes me realize the size of that sword could be a bit smaller, and it wouldn't be much of a sacrifice but it would make it more believable.
They're going for a more cartoony look of the characters though to keep their personalities intact; ie exaggerated anatomy like Barret's arms in comparison to Cloud's arms or.....Tifa's...well I guess that's going to be fun to speculate on :D

Good to hear this game might not be as linear as I thought since it is going the episodic route. Hearing that you can explore all areas of Midgar is great news if it turns out to actually be true...
Thta's really cool, having played the first disc of the game, I can easily say that I didn't care much about these guys when they died, let's see if they can make me like them this time around.
