I am very happy with my Day1 purchase. MS listens to consumers and updates all the time. I wish they developed some more first party software though like Sony does. However, gaming never ends. TitanFall, FM5, FH2...Here's to the 20 million milestone next.
They will announced more games after State of Decay YOSE and more during E3 2015.
That's a pretty healthy userbase. My expectation for lifetime sales is 50-60. Which wouldn't be bad at all for a console many consider a flop.
50-60m isn't bad at all. It's so weird to think that we haven't had a console sell in that range since the NES. Almost everything since then has either been a mega hit or a mega flop. This industry is very extreme.
Momma always said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Good going Xbox.
Its weird that Titanfall is'nt considered a sales success. Its the biggest selling new ip and 4th overall behind the gaming behemoths that are COD, AC and GTA. I say, well done Titanfall!
Watch Dogs and Destiny sold better.
Hmmm... I don't doubt it, but I still want to hear some solid word from MS. They've been way too hush hush..
I don't think their numbers really matter to you though, you're not exactly in their camp.
In that sense, these numbers don't matter to any of us lol
No, numbers matter to those that care and are within the camp their numbers come from.
I don't see why Sony fans need to ever care about Xbox numbers and vice versa for them and Nintendo.
Awesome. As long as it keeps pace or outpaced the Xbox 360, xbox one will do just fine in the long run.
It's not. Xbox 360 during the same month and time frame in its lifecycle sold 25K more units then XB1 and it was priced at $399.99. And to think, If the 360 wasn't sold out during it's first year it would have sold even more. But then Microsoft wouldn't have anything to use for PR now, would they.
No its still selling better without Halo or Gears. Not to mention competition and people are waiting for the Halo 5 bundles.
Very deserved!!
I am glad to hear this news! XboxOne is fabulous. Since I have the console XboxOne I enjoy more than video games. In Europe hopefully someday open his eyes because it is a great machine! I'm from Europe.
The majority of European gamers prefer Playstation. Nothing wrong there, and it certainly doesn't make them somehow blind.
Buying something based on brand certainly DOES make someone blind imo. Not saying anyone in particular is, but yeah. If you buy a console based on the logo, not good.
It's completely the opposite, people in US buy things because of the brand, Apple, MS, etc. Here in Europe people always go for the best no matter the brand is. PS4 far a better and more powerful console compared to XBone. Also we want a console to play games, no need for a console to watch tv, as any LCD tv is SMART now.
By the end of the year it will still be ahead of the 360. Also on the software chart Halo 5 will surpass all of MS first party games combined :-)
I usually buy all the relevant consoles, but my Xbox seems to keep me too busy this gen and Sony doesn't seem interesting.
Given the beast that is the PS4, the Xbox One does not always get the credit it deserves. Well done.
It's hardly ever going to get any good credit if we keep calling the opposite platofrm a ebat and keep noting it in it's competitor articles.
You technically gave more credit to PS4 in here compared to the centuries old "well done"
Proof that pricecuts work!
Now for the rest of Europe!
