wow look at all the 360 butthurt fanboys go, defend your selfs as patheticly as you can we all know the jailbreak is for piracy, who the fuck would use it to install linux on a console anyway knowing its cheaper to get a basic low spec pc for about $50 to do exactly the same as what can be done on the ps3, secondly i dont see how reporting jailbreak software is just limited to the ps3, what about the 360 or the Wii or even the ipod ??? simply put its not news its just more fanboy flamebait from the very people who supposedly despise it, im all against piracy and this just does nothing but make it look good but only a fanboy of a rival console will think of it as a good thing, where has piracy ever helped anyone (other than cheap skates who refuse to pay and end up costing honest people in the long run, games are getting more expencive and its not due to production costs or size but piracy plays a huge part in the high cost of games) NO PIRACY = CHEAPER BETTER GAMES. GO ON DENEY IT SOME MORE, THE JAILBREAK IS TO ALLOW PIRACY NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT.

@Genera1MLD: Seems like you didn't pay atttetnion in the last weeks. EMEAA got adjusted because for over 2 years, sales data has been missing from hard to track regions. Thes numbers have now been calculated in the EMEAA sales. Also continous sales from these regions give the PS3 in the the whole EMEAA. Everything clear now? And the reason why no X360 hacks are shown here, is that they aren't any worthwhile news. All the HAcks coming out are about piracy, modding your drive etc. The jailbreak, howeevr allows users to paly homebrew apps, Linux etc. Got that?

@General1MLD Your EMEAA sales variations means absolutely nothing. VGChartz strives to represent accurate totals and weekly sales. You are comparing total sales change with current weekly sales. Considering you didn't look at all past weekly sales (which do get adjusted from time to time) current weekly sales won't always reflect the change in total sales. Also, we've had articles mentioning every system being hacked. Go cry wolf somewhere else.

Won't be long before 3.55 gets hacked, once that door is open it tends to stay open.

sorry they provide a link "ps3-hacks.com" im still waiting for there xbox 360 hacks post as ive never see one on this site in fact i doubt there ever will be one, way to much biased going on on this site (just look at the EMEAA sales figures for ps3 over the pst few months VS the bar chart, note how the 360 has clawed back 200k yet the ps3 has continuously out sold the 360 for around 2 months solid)

@ Genera1MLD - Thats not true, no where in the description does it describe how to downgrade the system . I created a thread that had the information on how to hack the PS3 (posted an article from PS3 Hacks) and I got a warning and the thread closed so I really dont see how they are biased.

@ssj12 do you have an iphone or an ipod touch, do you know anyone who has one, is it jailbroken if so ill bet at least 99.9% of the apps on it are pirated from installios, the same goes for people who jailbreak the ps3, there is no way anyone would pay 300 pounds/$400 to turn a console into a seriously restricted PC especially after going through the process of jailbreaking it (its easier to get a budget PC/notepad) so again 99.9% of people that jailbreak use pirated software.

so why doesnt this site mention anything about xbox 360 hacking, modding, jailbreaking eh, maybe there fans of the 360 too much and just want everyone to hack there ps3's to cause sony to drop out of the console market. i always knew this site was biased but i diddnt think it could go as low as to support hacking and modding !!!. give it less than a day and this comment will be deleted and this account banned for 3 days for supposedly trolling and flamebaiting, hows about the truth hurts, no other site bothers to sink low enough to actually mention hacking/modding sites so people can ilegally modify there console to play pirated games.

@ssj12... If you want to run your linux you still can, if you haven't upgraded your system... and how many uses Linux to justify the jailbreak being mostly for this and not to piracy?

And the important part, without banning anyone. We should correct VGC sales with unique users from RROD and Banning... as they do with Move being various controlers for one system.

@Xander - jailbreaking isnt all about piracy... its about being able to use features that arent there any longer. Like use Linux.
