"As soon as", game came out in 2018, 2021 is a 3 year development cycle of a gameplay and engine already made. Games like that used to come out every 2 years. :P
Yep. Insomniac has always been good at pumping out sequels.
If they can't make it a launch title then yes a holiday 2021 would be a great time to release it.
Currently on my 2nd play-through. Still holds up extremely well. But I do think there are some improvements and additions that can be made. Like an expanded combat system, more side quests, and digging deeper into Spidey’s rogue gallery: Some returning ones like Shocker and Tombstone, ones that were planted in the first game like Wraith (she’s technically an antihero, but the potential for a Wraith storyline here is too good to see ass up in by view), and new ones like Mysterio, Green Goblin (obviously), Venom (and possibly Carnage), and Sandman.
Also: A playable Miles Morales/Spider-Man alongside Peter Parker.
The first game had some great mechanics, but lacked content and the boss battles were disappointing. I wonder which direction they'll take the sequel.
