The mercs levels completely rocked on the wiimake. I never completely the merc levels on the gamecube=/ It's nice to see them coming back=)

I never finished Mercenaries with Leon and all Five stars on each level. Did it for everyone else though... But for Leon there was just a single stage where I could only get 4 stars.....

i bet the coop mode they introduced is cool...i am a gulf ps3 owner and i got my retail copy yesterday...in chapter 3 the boss encountered needs good co-op player. chapter 4 introduces another boss(no spoilers)find it out when u get urs in which the coop skill is put to test...i think co-op won't be possible until 13th March..by then i hope wud have completed even in veteran

Mercenaries is just one of those thing that made RE4 special by adding replay value.

RF4 games PS3?

Merc missions in RE4 were without a doubt the best part of the game. They WERE the multiplayer "mode" and they gave the game added longevity and depth that many have never experienced. The merc missions are one of the mains reasons that game got such high reviews, and they were overlooked by many as a bullet point. What a shame.

RE4 mercenaries was so good - unlocking the handcannon took so long - getting full stars with hulk, Wesker and Krauser was so easy, Ada wasn't bad. But full stars with leon?? that took me so long

Just a pity there are no trophies/achievements for Mercenary mode...

re4 mercenaries was amazing. I was so excited when I unlocked the handcannon.

Actually the mercenary mini games have started in resident evil 3 nemesis and the hoard stuff you are talking about obviously was inspired from a resident evil 3. But you do know the mercenary mini games had some kind of device that would explode if you did not kill enemies and make it to the drop spot before the timer ran out. so each enemy would add seconds to your timer, the bigger the enemy the more seconds you would get.

Great I loved Mercernaries in RE4. It was so frantic and getting the high scores was a real challenge in some maps.

So now, the Hoard is becoming a must feature in games like this? First you had Hoard from Gears 2, then Night of the Zombies in World at War, and now this?

Does sound like a cool idea though.
