Probably the only race PS4 won't win for the next 4 years. After that, it will probably outsell the wii anyway!

PS4 will pass again the Wii by end of 2016-starting 2017.
In any case, Wii the first year is invincible...

Mmh.. before 2017 is impossible in my view.
Ps4 will pass Wii in late 2017, maybe 2018 :)

Ps4 sales will get stronger as more big games arrive. Wii sales have a steady drop. I think it may be possible for earlier 2016.

Now see how 360 and PS3 end up passing the Wii.

This is expected. Wii sold insanely well the first 3 years of its life. I doubt we'll see any of the systems this gen breaking 100 million. There's also a possibility we won't see the consoles selling the 80 million that pretty much all consoles last gen hit. The market has changed quite a bit over the past 8 years.

Finding a Wii for the first year was extremely hard :-/ Then it collected dust! thankfully I sold mine before the used price went down.

@Ninsect - the PS4 (and XB1 for that matter) will be lucky if they can top their last gen numbers, as many others have said, the market is constantly changing (for better or worse who knows). I do think this current gen will sell well over their respective life cycles in fact this is like comparing an apple to an orange. Sony definitely hit the ground running this time unlike the PS3 and MS is still making up for the Mattrick/Whitten f ups of 2013. Good time to be a gamer on ANY front for sure!
