Capcom Profits Up, Monster Hunter Sells 4.1M Units, Dead Rising 3 1.2M Units - News

Capcom has released its financial report for the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2014. Profits jumped 15.9 percent to 3.44 billion yen ($33.8 million). Revenue was up 8.6 percent to 102.2 billion yen ($1 billion).
The improved profits are due to the "explosive popularity" of Monster Hunter 4 which sold 4.1 million units. It has become the sixth bestselling Capcom game of all time. The Xbox One exlusive Dead Rising 3 has also sold 1.2 million units.
Resident Evil: Revelations also sold more than one a million units. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Risen, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies and DuckTales Remastered all saw good sales. However, Lost Planet 3 sales fell "below expectations.
"As for future prospects, the transition of business models is expected to accelerate in the home video game market due to the emergence of next-generation machines with diverse networking functions in light of the rise of online games thanks to the proliferation of smartphones and such," the publisher stated. "On the other hand, we expect that the burden on software makers will increase further as the surge of development costs, due to the higher-spec hardware, will be unavoidable."

thats pretty much what VGC has the retail sold Dead Rising 3 at now...so not too many digital sales? Great game though, deserves to be higher...
Not bad sales but probably less than half the sales it would have if DR3 would have been on PS4 as well.
