The standalone version of DayZ has sold more than two million units on Steam since its release four months ago. The news comes from a Tweet from the creator of the DayZ mod for Arma II Dean Hall.
"Just over 2 years ago the DayZ mod released," Tweeted Hall. "Today, the Standalone game just broke 2 million units in under 6 months."
The game managed to sell 172,000 units in its first 24 hours on sale. It would hit 800,000 units sold in 18 days and one million units in its first month. That would mean the next million units sold took three months. The game has also remained in the top ten best-selling games on Steam since its release on December 16th.
