I thought the 3DS was closer. Hard to match those DS sales.
The 2DS/Pokemon XY/Holiday/Monster Hunter 4/Zelda boost over the next three months should push things in the right direction.
I would like to see another article like this after the holidays. 3DS should start kicking DS's butt with the difference in holiday months.
Considering that after 32 months the DS had 3 holidays while 3DS had two, its understandable that it is lagging to much behind.
I didn't realise the gap was that big.
Well, I'll be fine if the gap doesn't go over 50Mil lifetime. Would be a step back, but still as many consoles sold as the Wii. DS sales were just like PS2 sales - out of this world and probably pretty much unreachable.
Yep, love the 3DS and think it had a lot better improvements but I don't see it ever reaching the heights that the DS did. Still going to beast for its time due to the fact that it is loaded with software and unless every Japanese company goes mobile it should still control that.
I think the gap will just steadily increase. Hard to touch the DS.
The gap will grow monstrous from now on
